Whereabouts in Oregon is Silver Falls? Is it near the Columbia Gorge, by any chance?

It's a little East of Salem, and is probably about 2 hours away from the Gorge.

I love that little spot. It's right off of the main trail and it's always cool in there on a hot day.

This was probably one of my favorite places on that hike. And yes, I was squatting down on a little rock while my tripod was out in the water

I definitely recommend a trip there. I just went last week, and already want to make another visit. Perhaps in the fall when the colors are changing.
