According to the nurse
So last Thursday I accompanied my wife to the hospital for her first ultrasound, and it was a very neat experience. For almost an hour we sat in a dim room while the nurse showed us our baby, and she told us that it's a girl (most likely). She (the baby) was moving around quite a bit, and while watching her move her arms and wiggle her fingers it finally sunk in; I'm going to be a dad. Woah. Maybe it's because I actually saw her, or maybe because I can now call the baby 'her' instead of 'it'. Whatever the reason, I'm getting more excited for the day she will eventually be born and I can hold her, my daughter.
