So last week I bought the Canon 10-22mm lens and am loving it!  As you can tell from my latest photos, I was at Portland's Japanese Gardens, which was an excellent place to play with the new lens.  I'm sure I'll be experimenting a lot more with this lens in the near future, and am planning to go shooting with ~niel4 again soon.  (If you still haven't checked him out, what are you waiting for?  He's put up a lot more photos.)

And as always, check out the works below that I found in the forums.

I think I would go for the 14mm f2.8 nikkor (gotta love primes)... But at 10mm the world must be another place. lol!

Yeah. It really takes some getting used to. I keep getting caught off guard by stuff that shows up in the viewfinder...like tree branches practically over my head, or people standing on my sides.

lol! Something similar happened when I got my 18-55, I used to have only a 55-200, so when I went to 18mm, the world was different, lol! kinda takes you off guard, must be great for crowded places!!

Congrats on the new investment! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine! Now when we go out together I'll just be asking for your macro... :) Hey, where did you end up getting the 10-22 from?

Oh I'm sure I will. I got it from b&h for a pretty good price.
